Filtering Report Data
I am a consultant having used XPunch for a few years now. What happened to the ability to filter reports? Once upon a time I was able to set filters before generating the punch report so that I could report on the punch details for specific clients. Now I can only select a date range. Am I missing something? I would like to be able to filter by subject, or task.
Thanks

Greetings,
Thank you for being such a loyal user of XPunch and thank you for keeping in contact with us about features you'd like to see (returned) in XPunch.
It's interesting that you wrote today because just a few hours ago I was gritting my own teeth about my inability to fine-tune my report requests for specific things such as tasks, projects, and clients in XPunch.
It's true that in the beta version of the product this ability was present. With the release of version 1.0, the behind-the-scenes relational structure between Clients <--> Projects <--> Tasks changed. That change meant that we could not immediately offer precision filtering on the 1.0 version.
We are considering what the best options are in terms of implementing this feature and changes will occur after we make a tweak to that relational structure I mentioned earlier (insider scoop: something called "global tasks" are coming).
So, what can you do in the meantime? It may not be the most ideal of worlds, but what I personally do is choose Reports > Analysis and I request an analysis report with the "Insert page break" toggle switch 'on.' I then ignore or delete the pages containing clients that aren't the focus of my attention at that time.
As a final point, I'll add your comments to our Feedback & Feature Requests section. Again, thank you for taking your time out to connect with us.
Kind regards,Jamie Bridge
