Scenario: as a manager with the "can edit roles" permission, you would like to give some—or even all—of your workers the ability to modify their hours or to create manual punches. Alternatively, as a worker, you find that you cannot edit your punches, perform manual punches and you don't have the "+" sign in your Punches view, but you would like to have these things.
Response: the ability to allow members to modify their punch times (or be able to create manual punches) is governed by a setting in "Roles." Anyone assigned to a given role will be (un)able to perform these types of punches depending on which role they've been assigned to. Now, if this is a one-time adjustment that needs to be made, know that anyone with the "edit punches" permission in your organization can adjust a worker's punches if a manual adjustment is required.
Response: if you are a worker, you may wish to discuss this with your manager and request that they assign you to a role that has the "Can punch manually" feature activated. As a manager, you will want to follow the steps, below, to modify features within a role. After that, you'll want to assign the worker to the role of your choosing.
Step 1 - Go to the Configuration section |

Step 2 - Select the "Roles" card
