At the moment, error notifications in XPunch are broad. Clarifying these messages in human-readable language is on our product roadmap.
You may receive a "toast notification" error message like the one at the bottom of the example screen, below, and wonder what it means. This article clarifies these messages while waiting for a product update.
Error Message Interpretation Table

Internal error |
Cause: the Internet connection was lost during a session. Remedy: restore the Internet connection. |

Internal error |
Cause: a member was disconnected from their group by a group administrator mid session. Remedy: contact your group administrator. |

Unauthorized |
Cause: even though an XPunch session is open and visible on the device, the session is no longer authenticated. Remedy: re-authenticate by logging back into XPunch. |
