Scenario: you're a freelancer, a consultant, a self-employed worker, a one-person firm such as an accountant, lawyer, or other professional—or even an individual that simply wants to track the amount of time they spend on tasks for personal purposes. XPunch is designed to let people like you track your hours.
What you want to do: create an XPunch group so that you can start logging your hours.
Clarification: that's right, even though you're an individual, you'll still create something called an XPunch group. You'll be a "group containing only one person," and you'll be the administrator of that group of one. But don't worry, we suspect you've got enough work to keep you from becoming lonely!
How: it's strangely easy. Just sign in to XPunch for the first time and choose "I want to create my own group."
Step 1 - Sign in to XPunch
- There's no need to "sign up:" you already have log in credentials for XPunch if you have a personal (non-corporate) Microsoft or Google account: just click on the "Sign in" button at xpunch.com and then click on the Microsoft Personal or Google Personal button.
- If you don't have a personal Microsoft or personal Google account and you're not interested in getting one, you can create an XPunch account. Click here if you need help creating a native XPunch account.
Step 2 - Create a Group
Step 3 - Complete the Information Dialogue
- Fill in the information fields in the dialogue that appears.
That's It! Your're Done!
- You can now get down to the business of tracking your hours.
- Go to the "Configuration" section to customize your account.
